Installation Instructions

How to install this firmware

Using iTunes or Finder (Mac with macOS Catalina or later):
  1. Download the IPSW file from the link above.
  2. Connect your device to your computer.
  3. Open iTunes (on Windows or macOS Mojave and earlier) or Finder (on macOS Catalina and later).
  4. Select your device when it appears.
  5. Hold the Option (⌥) key on Mac or Shift key on Windows and click Check for Update (to update and keep your data) or Restore (to erase all content and settings).
  6. Select the downloaded IPSW file when prompted.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

This version is not currently signed by Apple.
